Esperanza Martin - harp

Esperanza began her harp studies at the age of 8 at the Conservatorio Superior de Sevilla from where she gained a distinction. In 2002 she became harpist of the Youth Orchestra of Andaluzia, with whom she performed regularly.

Esperanza has now worked with several professional orchestras in Spain, and has a particularly close affiliation with the Symphony Orchestra of Seville, and the Symphony Orchestra of Extremadura. In 2004 she toured with the East-West Divan orchestra under Daniel Barenboim. In the same year she entered Trinity College of Music as a postgraduate student where she began to expand her chamber music repertoire and to give solo recitals. In 2007 Esperanza won a place in the Symphony Orchestra of Huelva, and toured again with Barenboim

In teaming up to form affinity, Rosie and Esperanza are enjoying the opportunity to play their ever-expanding repertoire together at a wide variety of events and venues. They regard it a privilege to share their love of music with people celebrating their own special and unique event
